Project Description

Project 72581-HEMS2IEA/SAICT/2020 is a Research and Technological Development project, funded by CRESC ALGARVE 2020, regional program of Portugal 2020.

The project designation is Boosting energy communities: from home energy management systems to intelligent energy aggregators (HEMS2IEA) and aims to propose new energy management techniques for local energy communities. It is considered that the aggregator will interface with each residential management system and with the electricity grid, allowing electricity to be managed in accordance with the pre-defined community contract.
