Objetives, Activities and Expected Results
The project aims to improve the performance of home energy management systems through a better use of information, the use of adequate control strategies and improved non-intrusive load monitoring algorithms.
It is divided in 6 activities:
- Implementation of data acquisition systems
- Non-intrusive load monitoring
- Forecasting
- Home energy management systems
- Tuning and Testing
- Project management
A pilot installation will be used, with a photovoltaic system, a storage system, air conditioning (AC) and additional electrical appliances whose operation can be scheduled.
